Diamond Palace Casino is the largest and most luxurious casino in Zagreb and the region. As they set new standards in the offer of games of chance and entertainment during the opening, they set new standards in the offer and organization of numerous business events.
Last Wednesday 16th of September at Diamond Palace Casinu was held tenth in a row IBMC – International Business Meetup Club party. IBMC is business networking organization started by Croatian entrepreneur Josip Novosel aka Dear Leader Joe.
IBMC brings together foreigners and returnees to Croatia, diplomats, local entrepreneurs and people from public life who hang out once a month at business networking parties in various places in Zagreb. Apart from good fun, serious business is also arranged here.
This time, the IBMC party was attended by guests from many countries such as Israel, USA, Ukraine, Russia, Australia…, representatives of large companies such as HT, Kent Bank, Maistra, MPG, Loreal and many famous people like Davor Meštrović from the TV show “Good morning Croatia”, chef Marko Palfi whose Decadent burger was recently declared the No1 burger at the ZG Burger Festival, actress Sanja Drakulić – the founder of the DUART platform for online casting, singer Kiki Rahimovski and many others.
The guests were greeted and delighted by the homemade Al Caprone welcome brandies.
At the entrance all guests also received 50 kn vouchers with which they could try their hand at various games of chance.
The great Neven Stipčić on vocals and Leonardo Kapetanović on guitar were in charge of the musical part of the evening.
A free poker school was organized for all the guests which I also wanted to sign up for, but while I was practicing poker face in front of the mirror, all the tables were already occupied. What can I say…narcissism has always cost me opportunities.
With top catering, Gin Tonic and many other drinks, the guests had a great time at the wheel of fortune in the Casino where they won numerous prizes and that was just an overture for the main prize worth over 10,000 kn.
The main prizes could be won by putting together a puzzle with a poster of the event on the touch screen TV in the shortest possible time, with the help of a lovely Diamond hostesses.
The first prize was handmade STRUGAR bespoke shoes worth HRK 2,500.00. Strugar is the most famous shoe manufacturer in Croatia as well as the region and recently received recognition and entered the top 500 best shoe manufacturers in the world.
The second prize was handmade Strugar sneakers, but specially modified/redesigned in the newly established company Shoe Cleanique which will make your new or old sneakers a true little work of art – unique sneakers like no other in the world. Prize value: HRK 2400.00.
Esthetic Dental Center donated teeth whitening as a third prize in the amount of HRK 2,500.00 and all IBMC members were also given a free dental examination and a dental X-Ray by the end of September as well as a 10% discount on all dental services.
The fourth prize was a night for two people in the Art Farmi Filozići on the island of Cres in the value of 1500.00 kn.

Three lucky people won yet another bottle of top Istrian OH wine and five ladies with the lowest score in the game won a massage coupon at the E.T.A. beauty corner.
At the end of the party, everyone was surprised that Diamond Palace Casino is not only a place for gambling, but also a great place to go out at night, a place where great parties are organized every single week, and considering how this one went, I’m sure we will organize an IBMC party at the same place a few more times.
